Obituary for Patsy D. Morell
Patsy D. Morrell, daughter of the late Dewey Day and Juanita Sparks Day was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, May 23, 1950. She entered eternal life on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio being 73 years, 11 months and 8 days of age at the time of her passing.
Patsy married Armando Fernandez Morrell on July 8, 1972 in Clewston, Florida. Patsy was a teacher for 16 years in Florida and then completed her career in Kentucky. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She was referred to as "Nini" to many children.
She is survived by her loving husband, Armando Fernandez Morell of Mayking, Kentucky, three sons, Armando "Manny" Morrell, Jr of Flagstaff, Arizona, Andy (April) Morrell of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Ryan Morrell of Kingsport, Tennessee.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Magnus Morrell, Hannah Morrell, Ayelett Morrell and Riley Morrell, a special niece, Heather Holbrook, great nephew, Joseph Price and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing especially Trigg and Tressie Whisenant.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Holbrook.
