Obituary for Opal Holbrook
Opal Holbrook, daughter of the late Alvin and Mary Franklin Hall, was born in Letcher County, Kentucky December 15, 1919. She entered eternal life Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her residence in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 92 years, 4 months and 16 days of age at the time of her passing. Opal married the late Robert Holbrook on November 4, 1942 who preceded her in death September 4, 2009. She enjoyed planting flowers and gardening and hosting meals for her family and friends spending time with the ones she loved. She is survived by Two Sisters: Esther Corrello and Lavernia Day both of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Also surviving are a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Sharon Holbrook. Four Brothers: Harvey Hall, James Hall, Edd Hall and Joseph Hall. Two Sisters: Bea Nelson and Evelyn Holbrook.
