Odessa Jones Lewis, daughter of the late Henry and Mealie Cornett Jones was born at Ingrams Creek, Kentucky May 17, 1936. She entered eternal life Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 81 years, 3 months and 29 days at the time if her passing.
Odessa married Rubin Lewis June 25, 1960. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a great friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Rubin Lewis of Linefork, Kentucky. One son, Michael Joseph (Tammy) Lewis of Linefork, Kentucky. One daughter, Ruby Jean Partin of Linefork, Kentucky. One brother, Bruce Jones of Linefork, Kentucky. One sister, Dorothy Jean Jones Roark of Elizabethtown, Indiana.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Terra, Gary Jr, Nikita, Keith, Jessica, Jeremy and Emily. 18 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Odessa was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Dock Lewis, great-grand daughter, Sydney Nicole Adams. Four brothers, Albert, Cecil, Delbert and Henry Ray. One sister, Rachael.
