Obituary for Nina Sue Hampton Burns
Nina Sue Hampton Burns was born September 30, 1935 in Haymond, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Viola and Sherman Hampton. She passed from this life Wednesday, January 19, 2022 making her 86 years old.
Nina married Patrick Lincoln Burns February 7, 1952, they were high school sweethearts. In addition to being a homemaker, Nina was also a nurse for many years and later helped run Pinecrest Campground in Russell Springs, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Viola and Sherman Hampton. Her husband, Patrick Burns. A son, Michael Burns and an infant son, Patrick Allen Burns. One brother, Manuel Hampton.
She is survived by one son, Gill (Kim) Burns of Russell Springs, Kentucky. A nephew, Frank (Barbara) Hampton of Jenkins, Kentucky. A niece, Paula (Joe) Adams of Nicholasville, Kentucky.
She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
