Obituary for Nanye White Lamont
Obituary Nanye White Lamont, daughter of the late Charlie and Maggie Holbrook White was born in Letcher County, Kentucky October 15, 1936. She entered eternal life Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky being 76 years, 5 months and 21 days of age at the time of her passing. Nanye was a member of the Neon First Church Of God and served on the W.C.G. Committee. She married Charlie T. Lamont, February 19, 1977. She worked at Bell South and retired in 1989 after 30 years of service. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Nanye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. She is survived by her husband, Charlie T. Lamont of Kona, Kentucky. Richard C. Salyer and Michael R. Salyer both of Louisville, Kentucky. Bill (Lisa) Lamont of Jasper, Indiana and Duane (Marilyn) Lamont of Owenton, Kentucky. Four daughters; Debbie (John) Reinert of Louisville, Kentucky, Debbie Martini of Cocoa, Florida, Deana (Joe) Wyngowski of Belchertown, Massachusetts and Denise Lamont of Louisville, Kentucky. One brother, Roland (Lana) White of Kona, Kentucky. One sister, Ruby (Ike) Hall of Pikeville, Kentucky. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Nanye was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bob Martini. Two brothers; Nolan White and Ralph White. One sister, Wanda White.
