Obituary for Micheal "Pokey" Reyolds
Michael "Pokey" Reynolds, son of the late Marion Russel and Joann ( Hurd) Reynolds was born at Hazard, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice center in Hazard, Kentucky being 69 years, 9 months and 12 days of age at the time of his passing.
Michael was married to the late Carolyn Sandlin Reynolds, she passed away July 15, 2024. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all that knew him. Michael enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by a son, Leo ( Courtney) Reynolds of Isom, Kentucky. One daughter, Teresa ( Nick) Reynolds of Blackey, Kentucky. Three brothers: James Reynolds of Brinkley, Kentucky; Joe Reynolds of Litt Carr, Kentucky and Bobby Reynolds of Litt Carr, Kentucky. Two sisters: Debbie Reynolds of Ball, Kentucky and Donna Reynolds of Hazard, Kentucky.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Ronnie, Regan, Paisley, Michael, Skyler, Spencer K, Spencer C, Meredith, Jackson. One great granddaughter: Avyanna and a special friend, Jackie Ison and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Marion "J.J." Reynolds and a sister, Dana Reynolds.
