Michael Douglas Rayburn I, son of Hazel Fields Rayburn and the late Earl Rayburn was born in Letcher County, Kentucky May 23, 1950. He entered eternal life Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 62 years, 6 months and 21 days of age at the time of his passing. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Whitesburg Masonic Lodge # 754. He is survived by his loving mother, Hazel Rayburn of Big Cowan, Kentucky. One son, Michael D. Rayburn II of Cowan, Kentucky. One brother, Terry Rayburn and wife Carol of Big Cowan, Kentucky. Also surviving two grandchildren, Jamie Michlyn Dakota Rayburn and James Michael Dillon Rayburn both of Isom, Kentucky and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
