Obituary for Mary Jane Tyree Adams
Mary Jane Tyree Adams, daughter of the late Sam Henry and Nancy Hawkins Tyree was born February 1, 1926 in Dry Fork, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 90 years, 9 months and 14 days of age at the time of her passing.
She was married to Alvin Adams who passed away in 1974. She later married Burnice Kincer who passed away November 15, 2007. Mary was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, quilting and spending time with her family. She was a very loving, hardworking mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by two daughters; Mary Linda (Merrill) Holbrook of Dry Fork, Kentucky and Nancy Scott of North Carolina.
Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren, several great granchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lee "Lebo" Gibson. Two daughters; Mildred Lane Blake and Milos Bare. Seven brothers; Garfield, Morris, Frank, Jody, John, Ira and Christopher. Three sisters; Martha, Victoria and Vera Lee.
