Obituary for Lois Geneva Adams
�� �� �� Lois Geneva Adams, daughter of the late Dan and Peggy Slaven Taylor was born December 6, 1930 in Whitley City, Kentucky. She entered eternal life January 17, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 85 years, 1 month and 11 days of age at the time of her passing. �� �� �� Geneva married John M. Adams December 13, 1946. He passed away May 20, 1984. She later married Winford Sturgill May 21, 2011. She enjoys quilting, going to church and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member for over thirty years at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church in Millstone, Kentucky. �� �� �� �� �� ��She is survived by her loving husband, Winford Sturgill of Ermine, Kentucky. One daughter, Linda (Larry) Hatton of Sandlick, Kentucky. One sister, Isabell Pease of Ermine, Kentucky. One son-in-law, Buck Tolliver of Ermine, Kentucky. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Tammy (Joe) Fields, Sherry (James) Keel, Wendy (Kevin) Day, Chris (Sarah) Hatton, Phillip Haynes and Amanda (Tim) Brown and several great and great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. �� �� �� She was preceded in death by one son, Carl Adams, four daughters, Wanda Tolliver, Tena Belle Adams, Karen Haynes and Janet Adams. Three sisters, Goldie Perry, Betty Pease and Alpha Meeks. Three Brothers, Harvey Taylor, Oliver Taylor, George Taylor.
