Obituary for Lloyd Eugene Sparks
Eugene Sparks, son of the late Ismay and Dixie Kincer Sparks was born at Bottom Fork, Kentucky, January 16, 1937. He entered eternal life Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his residence at Bottom Fork, Kentucky being 83 years, 4 months and 27 days of age at the time of his passing.
Eugene married Margorie Jeanette Scott on August 17, 1963. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and great friend to all that knew him. Eugene enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army and a member of the Thornton Union Old Regular Baptist Church at Mayking, Kentucky.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Jeanette Sparks of Bottom Fork, Kentucky. Two sons; Rick (Jettie) Sparks of Frankfort, Kentucky and David (Melanie) Sparks of Louisville, Kentucky. Two brothers; Major (Ella) Sparks of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Wendell "Buck" (Shirley) Sparks of Mayking, Kentucky. One sister, Vel Spangler of Kettering, Ohio.
Also surviving are six grandchildren; Alexis, Morgan, Marley, Peyton, Kiara, Kevin and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Eugene was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Sparks. He passed away August 27, 2016.
