Obituary for Linda Sexton
Linda Gayethale Sexton, daughter of the late Frank and Grethel Spence Dingus was born in Jenkins, Kentucky, May 22, 1941. She entered eternal life Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her residence in Jenkins, Kentucky being 77 years, 5 months and 9 days of age at the time of her passing.
Linda was married to the late Harold Dean Sexton, June 3, 1957. He passed away November 29, 2016. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. Linda enjoyed reading, growing flowers and was a member of the Eastern Star in Neon, Kentucky and work for the Red Cross for years.
She is survived by three sons; Harold Sexton Jr. of Neon, Kentucky; Kelly Sexton of Travelers Rest, South Carolina and Michael (Latisha) Sexton of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Two daughters; Carolyn (Lee) Harrison of Ridge Spring, South Carolina and Kathy (Robert) Cretnich of Haymond, Kentucky. Two brothers; Frank B. Dingus Jr. of Independence, Kentucky and Mike Dingus of Neon, Kentucky. Four sisters; Evelyn Dingus of Louisville, Kentucky, Betty Anderson of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Virginia Brandenburg of Middletown, Ohio and Shelia Kline of Covington, Kentucky.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Linda was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Sexton and three sisters; Sherry Dingus, Pat Butrum and Faye Pingle.
