Obituary for Lillie June Ellis
Lillie June Ellis, daughter of the late Williard Francis and Lillie Victoria Bolling Hubbard was born November 6, 1936 in Pound, Virginia. She entered eternal life Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 80 years, 10 months and 16 days of age at the time of her passing.
She was married to William Charles Ellis who preceded her in death on May 14, 2004. June was a devoted member to the Dunham Fundamental Baptist Church for several years. She loved to crochet and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by two daughters; Robin (John) Johnson of Jenkins, Kentucky and Vickie (Denny) Slone of Howell, Michigan. Two brothers; Ralph Hubbard and Howard Hubbard both of Pound, Virginia. Two sisters; Ruth Meade of Raleigh, North Carolina and Ollie Ellis of Jenkins, Kentucky. Five grandchildren; John Johnson II, Morgan Bentley, Nathan Ray Looney, Jeffery Looney and Darla Bertrand. Seven great grandchildren; Frankie, Liam, Taylor, Trey, McKenna, Dylan and Ava.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Nathan Looney. Five sisters; Ruby, Hattie, Anita, Shirley and Illia. Two brothers; James and Victor.
