Obituary for Lillian Francis Collier
Lillian Francis Collier, daughter of the late Winferd C. and Eva Lee Burrows Combs was born at Millstone, Kentucky March 22, 1936. She entered eternal life Thursday, October 5, 2017 at her daughter's home on Pine Mountain, Kentucky being 83 years, 6 months and 13 days of age at the time of her passing.
Francis was married to the late James Morrel Collier, who passed away March 20, 2000. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a great friend to all that knew her. Francis loved to cook and bake for everyone especially at Christmas time.
She is survived by her three loving daughters: Susan Elaine (Charles) Bennett of Muncie, Indiana; Juanita (Alvin) Spangler of Pine Mountain, Kentucky and Anita Anne (Jim) Thomson of Boise, Idaho. Two brothers: Billy (Alma) Combs of Racine, Ohio and Harold (Shirley) Combs of Indiana. One sister: Olena Caryol (Jim) Combs of Cleveland, Ohio; Six grandchildren; Keiuma Lee Bennett, Emilie Frances Jessie Spangler, Kelsey Elizabeth Thomson, Abigail Grace Thomson, Kelly Michelle Spangler, and Richard Spangler.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Jack Combs and Lawrence Buddy Combs; One sister, Gladys Combs.
