Obituary for Leslie Ann Quillen Williams
Obituary Leslie Ann Quillen Williams, resident of Jeffersonville, Indiana, daughter of the late Dr. Sam and Katherine Davidson Quillen, was born in Fleming, Kentucky May 25, 1947. She left this earthly home for her heavenly home from her hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Friday May 22, 2015. Beside her was a loyal, loving and dedicated husband Dr. Dennis Ray Williams and a loving friend Nancy Cline. Leslie and Dennis met while attending Morehead State University and were married by Reverend Bernard Raper in Frankfort, Kentucky July 28, 1973. Leslie was a retired elementary school teacher in Hanover, Indiana where she loved her second grade students and each year gave special loving care to those kids she felt needed something special and a "hug". A loving wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend that loved to cook, entertain and talk. However, reguardless how loving, we did not expect the utterance of these words, " you are right, I am wrong". Only her best friend in her life that could get her to say this was her mother, whom she dearly loved and adored. Her best friend, now united again. Leslie is survived by her husband Dr. Dennis Ray Williams of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Her brother, Dr. Sam Jr. (Anna) Quillen of Fleming-Neon, Kentucky. Nephews, Trey Quillen and daughter Reagan of Fleming-Neon, Kentucky. Michael Paul (Jennifer) Quillen and daughter Rilee and son Greyson of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Aunt Leslie loved and treated them as grandchildren she did not have. A mother-in-law, Alice Marie Williams of Louisville, Kentucky. A brother-in-law, Richard (Jeanne) Williams of Louisville, Kentucky. Also, very close cousins and family that will surely miss her. Leslie is leaving behind special classmates of Fleming-Neon High School, class of 1965. As well, classmates of Morehead State University and "The Green Room". Her very most special friends that she loved as brothers and sisters Nancy Cline, Mike Ellis and son Briner and Bill and Fanny Timmer. The celebration of Leslie Ann's life will be at her church she loved and belonged to, the Neon First Church Of God the evening of May 29, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. Interment at the feet of her mother in the Reynolds Cemetery in Seco, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the WCG Quilt Ministry of the First Church Of God. P.S. "I Love You More"
