Obituary for Leonard Boggs
Leonard Boggs, son of the late Everett and Ollie Gilley Boggs was born September 5, 1944 in Dongola, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 76 years, 1 month and 23 days of age at the time of his passing.
He married Frieda Kay Lark Boggs on June 5, 1965 in Letcher County, Kentucky. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2012. Leonard enjoyed wood working, fishing, was an avid UK fan, loved going to Pigeon Forge and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friends to all that knew him.
He is survived by one son, Rick Boggs of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Two daughters; Michelle (Jeff) Potter of Jackhorn, Kentucky and Nikki (Wayne) Collins of Isom, Kentucky. One brother, Lester Boggs of Seco, Kentucky. One sister, Wilma Jean Day of Columbus, Indiana. Eight grandchildren; Jeremy, Tyler, Bucky, Paul, Brooklyn, Jacob, Owen II and Kane. Three great grandchildren; Meah, Kanean and Carter.
He was preceded in death by two brother; Linville and Justin Banks
