Obituary for Lela Collier
Lela June Collier, daughter of the late Albert and Ella Holbrook Slone was born February 23, 1939 in Bottom Fork, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Sunday, October 4, 2020 being 81 years, 7 months and 11 days of age at time of her passing.
She was married to the late William "Bill" Collier for fifty seven years. They were married July 7, 1954 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He passed away August 26, 2011. She was a member of the Seco Pentecostal Church in Seco, Kentucky. She enjoyed family reunions and spending time with her family, friends and grandkids. Those are the things she enjoyed most.
She is survived by seven sons; Steven Wayne "Sherry" Collier of Pennington Gap, Virginia, Patrick Randolph "Randy" Collier and Christopher Duke "Debbie" Collier both of Kona, Kentucky, Eugene "Christen" Collier of Ermine, Kentucky, Timmy Collier, Matthew Klabel and Kameron Klabel all of Kona, Kentucky. Three daughters, Emily Collier of Berea, Kentucky, Serenity Collier and Brooklyn Klabel both of Kona, Kentucky. A brother, Ercel Slone of Beanstation, Tennessee. Three sisters, Rendall Slone and Patty Hall both of Alexandria, Virginia and Alberta Slone of Kona, Kentucky.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, Dane, Mika, Caitlin, Grayson, Tanner, Jaxon, Marli, Emma, Kaylee, Dodge and Case. Four great-grandchildren, Jaci, Addie, Hawthorne, Elowynne. a Special friend, Gail Collins and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by two sons, William Michael and Tommy Collier.
