Obituary for Larry Van Hatton
Larry Van Hatton, son of Norma Jean Hatton and the late James Monroe "Mutt" Hatton was born March 17, 1951 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana being 63 years 11 months and 28 days of age at the time of his passing. Larry was the pastor of the Shelter For the Sheep Pentecostal Church in Austin, Indiana. He enjoyed many things, but spending time with his family and friends is something he always cherished. He enjoyed visiting and praying for the sick. He lived by faith and loved Jesus with all his heart. His greatest love was his grand children. He owned and operated Hatton Carpet in North Vernon, Indiana from 1984-2014. He is survived by his loving mother, Norma Jean Hatton of Dupont, Indiana. One daughter, Tabatha Hatton of Ashland, Ohio. One son, Jerome Hatton and wife Crystal of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Five brothers, Jamie Hatton and wife Lois Hatton of San Jacinto, Indiana, Denny Hatton and wife Nancy, of North Vernon, Indiana. Clyde Hatton and wife Susie of Scipio, Indiana, Greg Hatton and wife Barbara of Madison, Indiana. Jack Hatton and Lynnetta of NorthVernon, Indiana. One sister, Sheryl Richardson and husband Roger of Paris Crossing, Indiana. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jacob Williams, Elijah Hatton, Makala Spencer, Preston Hatton and Cooper Hatton and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
