Obituary for Larry Dean Holbrook
Larry Dean Holbrook, son of the late Bummer and Malvery Phillips Holbrook was born on December 16, 1948 in Letcher County, Kentucky. He entered eternal life on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 66 years, 2 months and 15 days of age at the time of his passing. Larry was married to Margaret Webb Holbrook. He attended the Seco Freewill Baptist Church. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. He loved to go coon hunting. He is survived by his wife Margaret Holbrook of Haymond, Kentucky. Two sons; Larry Dean (Laura) Holbrook Jr. of Danville, Kentucky and Hiram Eugene Holbrook of Neon, Kentucky. One brother, Verlis Holbrook of Haymond, Kentucky. Three sisters; Doris Hall and Katherine Davis of Haymond, Kentucky and Sherlene Holbrook of Lexington, Kentucky. Four grandchildren; Hanna, Zack, Tyler and Lexie. One great granddaughter, Ava. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Larry was preceded in death by four brothers, Martin, Charles, Johnny Mack and Gean. One sister, Janice Hall.
