Obituary for Larry Combs
Larry Combs, son of the late Lawrence and Cordelia Gibson Combs was born September 29, 1950 in Isom, Kentucky being 71 years and 15 days of age at the time of his passing.
Larry was a veteran of the Vietnam War and proudly served in the US Army. He married Janice Rose on February 25, 1974 in Clintwood, Virginia. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, riding four wheelers and spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great friend to all that knew him. he sure loved to have a good time.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Combs of Isom, Kentucky. Three daughters, Missy "Bill" Preuss of Ermine, Kentucky, Mary Ellen "Joey" Brewer of Isom, Kentucky and Sheryl "Aaron" Elliott of Unicoi, Tennessee. A son, Larry "Evelyn" Combs of Isom, Kentucky. A sister, Ellen Schepke of Memphis, Indiana.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildre, Kaitlynn, Kaci, Haleigh, Megan, Lacey, Cody, Ethan, Hannah, Mandy, Brayleigh and Jace. Two great-grandchildren, Addilyn and Addilee and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Myrl Combs and a sister, Lisa Sego.
