Obituary for Lana C. White
Lana Lorena White, daughter of the late Morgan F. and Margaret Robbins Compton was born March 10, 1946 in Neon, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky being 75 years, 6 months and 18 days of age at the time of her passing.
Lana was retired from the U.S. Postal Service where she worked as a Postmaster for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She loved going fishing and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Lana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Roland White of Kona, Kentucky. A son, Christopher Roland White of Kona, Kentucky. One daughter, Brandi Joyce White of Kona, Kentucky. One sister, Cleda Bentley of Loraine, Ohio. Three grandchildren; Megan Lynn White, Nathan Shane White and Emily White.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; Calvin Compton, Pete Compton, John Compton and Charles Compton. Four sisters; Hazel Yonts, Viola Grinell, Joyce Baker and Lois Waddell.
