Obituary for Katherine J. Day
Kathrine Jean (Hager) Day, 70 of Cowan went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center. Kathy was the daughter of the late Willis Hager, Sr. and Juanita (Honican) Hager of Daytona Beach, Florida. She is survived by her husband Kelsey Douglas Day. 1 son Kerney Lee Day and his wife Helen Day of Chapman, Kansas; 1 daughter Kaye Lynn Fox and her husband Jimmy Fox of Jenkins, Kentucky. 1 brother Willis Hager, Jr. and his wife Myrna Hager of Daytona Beach, Florida. 6 grandchildren: Daniel Day of Kansas, Roger Lee Brown of Cowan, Carrie Brown of Cowan, Douglas (Katelyn) Day of Kansas, Ashley Brown of Cowan, Victoria Day of Kansas. 7 Great Grandchildren and 1 on the way: Westyn, Parker, Kailyn, Waylon, Zander, Blakely and Paislee. Lifetime friends: Alfred and Sue Gibson of Whitesburg. Extended family to include: Nick Adams, Erica Meade, Garland Silcox and Casey Swartz.
