Obituary for Julie Quillen
Julie Quillen, daughter of the late Harlan and Evie Hall Meade was born at Dry Creek, Kentucky, November 11, 1948. She entered eternal life Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at her residence at Deane, Kentucky being 75 years, 3 months and 3 days of age at the time of her passing.
Julie was married to the late Vineyard Quillen he passed away June 30, 2008. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed working in her garden and doing puzzles but most of all spending time with her family. Julie loved reading her bible.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann (Frank) Elkins of Deane, Kentucky. One son, Emitt Vineyard Quillen of Lexington, Kentucky. Three sisters; Lois Sexton of Clay City, Kentucky, Zola Hall of Sweetwater, Tennessee and Shirley Collins of Haymond, Kentucky. Two grandchildren; Keegan Elkins and Jake (Bree) Elkins. Four great grandchildren; Kylee, Mia, Bentley and Jade.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Julie was preceded in death by three brothers; Danny Meade, Jellen Meade and Harold Dean Meade.
