Obituary for Johnny Collier
Johnny Wayne Collier son of the late Hass and Mary Magdalene Hall Collier was born at Neon, Kentucky, August 3, 1947. He entered eternal life Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Hospice Hospital in Richmond, Kentucky being 75 years and 6 months of age at the time of his passing.
Johnny was married to the late Ann Collier. She passed away February 5, 2013. He later married Janice Collier. He was a pastor at Whitco Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by three daughters; Marilyn Eastridge of Buckhorn, Kentucky, Lisa Selvidge of Richmond, Kentucky and Becky Bates McGee of Lexington, Kentucky. One brother, Elmer Collier of El Paso, Texas. Three sisters; Genevia Dahlbik of Clearwater, Florida, Phyllis White of Bedford, Indiana and Sharon King of Bedford, Indiana.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, John Simons, Ashley Steagall, James Eastridge, Matthew Bates and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Johnny was preceded in death by a son, James Eastridge. Brothers; Creed Collier and Jack Collier.
