Obituary for Johnie Ray Brock
Johnie Ray Brock, son of the late Mitchell and Emma Sandlin Brock was born September 12, 1949 in Norton, Virginia. He entered eternal life Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Hazard ARH Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky being 66 years 2 months and 10 days of age at the time of his passing. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Johnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. He is survived by his wife Sarah Loretta Brock of Roxana, Kentucky. Two sons; Johnie Eugene Brock of Pikeville, Kentucky and James Irvin Brock of Lincoln County, Kentucky. One step son, Ronnie Ashby of Cumberland, Kentucky. Two daughters; Resi Brill of Virginia and Virginia Ann Brock of Virginia. One brother, Charlie Brock Jr. of Mayking, Kentucky. One sister, Evelyn Hoarsley of Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Two half sisters; Diane Honchell of McRoberts, Kentucky and Patsy Sexton of Isom, Kentucky. Seven grandchildren; Matthew Ashby, Makayle Ashby, Heather Brock, Jonathan Brock, Daniel Garfield, Jessica Camp and Kelly Brock. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by one son, Orville Ray Brock. One brother, James Daniel Brock. Two sisters; Norma Lee West and Minnie Vae Sexton.
