Obituary for Jerry "Bear" York
Jerry "Bear" York, son of the late Paul and Docie Maxie York was born on February 18, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He entered eternal life on Friday, January 2, 2015 in Vero Beach, Florida being 56 years, 10 months and 12 days of age at the time of his passing. He was a mechanic for Gracewood Fruit Company. He was a loving father, son, brother and a great friend to all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Nancy York of North Banger, New York. One son, Cody York of North Carolina. Two daughters; Justa York of Cowan, Kentucky and Tonya Nagel of Cincinnati, Ohio. Two brothers; Ernie York of Whitesburg, Kentucky. James York of Knott County, Kentucky. One sister; Helen York of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Two grandchildren; Chloe Slone and Hunter Slone. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
