Jason Brown, son of Alpha King and the late Charles Douglas Brown was born in Wise, Virginia, June 26, 1972. He entered eternal life Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 44 years, 7 months and 8 days of age at the time of his passing.
Jason was married to Kelly Wright June 11, 2005. He loved the lord, going to church, and had a passion for working in gospel music. He loved his daughter Regan more than anything. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Kelly Wright of Jenkins, Kentucky. A daughter, Regan Elizabeth Brown of Cowan, Kentucky. His mother, Alpha Reynolds of Fancy Gap, Virginia. One brother, Bacchus (Sarah) Brown of Burdine, Kentucky. One sister, Roxzan Brown of Walkertown, North Carolina. A grandmother, Jewel King of Cromona, Kentucky. Three nephews; Joshua Puckett, Cole Brown and Connor Baker. One niece; Brook Puckett. A special cousin, Brian Hall of Mayking, Kentucky. Two special aunts; Alice King and family of Payne Gap, Kentucky and Fran Hall and family of Mayking, Kentucky. A special friend, Gerald Stidham of Whitesburg, Kentucky. A dog, Petey.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Brown. A grandpa, Reverend Jake King. A great uncle, Charlie L. Brown. A special aunt, Luna Armstrong. A great aunt, Lucinda "Ninny" Brown.
