Obituary for Jane Sexton
Jane Sexton, daughter of the late Bruce and Mary Brock Eldridge was born August 15, 1968 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 53 years, 2 months and 5 days of age at the time of her passing.
She married Billy Sexton in August of 2013. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2021. She was a member of the Blackey Pentecostal Church. Jane loved going to church and playing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Paige Back of Jeremiah, Kentucky. A son, Landon Slone of Blackey, Kentucky. Two grandchildren; Madelynn Williams and Sheldon Adams. Three sisters; Etna (Terry) Caudill of Jeremiah, Kentucky, Debra Caudill of Vicco, Kentucky and Sally (Broy) Dollarhyde of Blackey, Kentucky. Three brothers; Bruce Eldridge Jr. (Linda) of Blackey, Kentucky, Roger Eldridge of Leatherwood, Kentucky and Jeff Eldridge of Ohio.
Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Thomas.
