Jamie Sturgill, son of James and Anna Sturgill and Phyllis and Clifford Cook was born August 28, 1973 in Treaton, Michigan. He entered eternal life Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 42 years, 10 months and 22 days of age at the time of his passing.
He enjoyed spending time in the woods. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his parents; James and Anna Sturgill of Ermine, Kentucky and Phyllis and Clifford Cook of Hanover, Indiana. Four sons; Kodi and Kori both of Lily, Kentucky, Trey and Cameron both of Georgetown, Kentucky. Two daughters; Tia Sturgill of Little Colley, Kentucky and Teanna Sturgill of Georgetown, Kentucky. Four sisters; Tess Sturgill of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Crystal Peake of Indianapolis, Indiana, Cynthia Smith of Hanover, Indiana and Pamela (PJ) Sturgill of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. One granddaughter, Brynnlie Breeding.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
