Obituary for James J. Green
James Green, son of the late Willis Green and Betsey Polly Green, was born in Kona, Kentucky on April 2, 1945. He entered eternal life on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Heritage Hall in Wise, Virginia being 76 years, 10 months and 10 days of age at the time of his passing.
James was a graduate of the Fleming Neon class of 1963. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his guns. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served from 1965-1967.
He is survived by a son: Freddie (Donna) Craft of Payne Gap, Kentucky, a brother: Johnny (Lisa) Green of Hindman, Kentucky, a sister: Alex (Verl) Cassell of Norton, Virginia, and a special friend: Monica (Joe) Caudill of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
He is also survived by 1 grandson: Frederick Craft, 1 great-grandson: Nash Jameson, 3 nephews: Larry Ritchie, Jim Ballou, Jonathan Farmer, 4 nieces: Wendy Ballou, Kimberly Mullins, Lori Pettyjohn and Susie Adkins.
James was preceded in deatah by his lifelong companion: Lizzie Elswick and a sister: Janice Farmer.
