Obituary for James Hall
James Hall, son of the late Bascum and Polly Ann Vance Hall was born at Knott County, Kentucky, January 26, 1928. He entered eternal life Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital being 93 years, 2 months and 19 days of age at the time of his passing.
James was married to the late Barbara Ann Hall. She passed away 2012. He later married Sarah Marie Hall. She entered eternal life 2019. James was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed hunting ginseng with his friend, Pat Sexton and playing corn hole at the Senior Citizen Center where he enjoyed going.
He is survived by his son, Gregory (Paul) Hall of Pinkney, Michigan. Two sisters; Gyrtle June "Gyrt" Cook of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Betty Lou Boynton of Martinsville, West Virginia.
Also surviving are four grandchildren; Jamie, Jessica, Jacob and Jenna. Three great grandchildren; Ariana, Mason, Dante and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by four brothers; Harold Hall, Delmer Hall, Billy Hall and John Edison Hall. Two sisters; Mary Rose Stephens and Charma Sue McLin.
