Obituary for James Darrell Lucas
James Darrell Lucas, son of the late Emil and Ethel Martin Lucas was born October 31, 1952 in Seco, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Friday, October 12, 2018 at his residence in Thornton, Kentucky being 65 years of age at the time of his passing.
James enjoyed carpentry work and working on guns. He had two loving pets, Sissy and Mr. Snow that he loved. He was a loving brother, uncle and a great friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by a brother, Billy Carl Lucas of Thornton, Kentucky. Four sisters, Shirley Lucas of Thornton, Kentucky, Sharon Aderholt of Cullman, Alabama, Judy Holbrook of Thornton, Kentucky and Sylvia Reynolds of Mayking, Kentucky.
Also surviving are six nieces and seven nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
James was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Ray Lucas, Larry Wayne Lucas and Jack Lucas. One niece, Tammy Hall Adams. one great-nephew, Dustin Jared Adams.
