Obituary for James Anthony "Pee Wee" Surber
James Anthony "Pee Wee" Surber son of the late James Vincent Surber and Sharon Gail Magard Surber nad was born at Harlan, Kentucky, January 5th, 1979. He enetered eternal life Friday, January 10, 2025 at Whitesburg Appalachain Regional Hospital being 46 years and 5 day of age at the time of his passing.
James was a member of the Little Cowan Primitive Church. He was a 7th generational coal miner. James loved hunting and fishing, riding his 4 wheeler and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Amber Day Surber of Cowan, Kentucky. Three daughters: Kammy (Jacob) of Camp Branch, Kentucky; Kynslee and a bonus daughter Lillee Hall both from Cowan, Kentucky. One sister Regina, Regina Surber Smith ( Allen) of Eolia, Kentucky. His in laws David and Paula Day of Cowan, Kentucky. Also surviving are his two special boys, Achilles and Ozzy ( cats ) whom he loved dearly and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. James was proceeded in death by a sister Melissa Surber and a great nephew, Blaze Smith.
