Obituary for Jackie Johnson
Jackie Vincent Johnson, son of the late Luther and Golda Stevens Johnson was born in Letcher County, Kentucky September 23, 1937. He entered eternal life Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Neon, Kentucky being 75 years, 2 months and 29 days of age at the time of his passing. Jackie was married to the late Janet Jent Johnson, she passed away October 10, 2000. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam war serving in the United States Air Force. Jackie attended the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters; Kharmin Johnson (Michael) of Citrus Heights, California and Jo-Lynn Aponte of Charleston, South Carolina. One brother, Gerald Johnson (Janet) of Irvine, Kentucky. One sister, Barbara Fletcher of Dry Fork, Kentucky. Four grandchildren; Alexander, Christina, Maria and Manny and one great granddaughter. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
