Obituary for Jack Spurgeon, Jr
Jack Spurgeon Jr., son of the late Jack Spurgeon and Betsy Collins Freeman was born on April 21, 1953 in Akron, Ohio. He entered eternal life Monday, January 28, 2013 at his residence being 59 years, 9 months and 7 days of age at the time of his passing. He was a member of the Little Colly Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his brothers and working with his chickens. He is survived by two brothers; James and wife Diane Collins of Low Gap Branch, Kentucky and Billy Joe Spurgeon of Crab Orchard, Kentucky. Six sisters; Darlene Reeves of North Carolina, Carol Gurnish of Akron, Ohio, Sandy Habib of Texas, Nancy Lambert of Alabama, Tina Holt and Betty Williams both of Wadsworth, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passsing. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Luther and Nancy Collins.
