Obituary for Ivalene Austin
Ivalene Profitt Austin, age 92, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on February 4, 2022.
Ivalene, daughter of Ira and Ella Profitt, was born on October 4, 1929, at Carr Creek, Kentucky. She was married to the late Ernest Gilmer Austin in 1947 and they made their home in Haymond, Kentucky.
Ivalene enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she had a beautiful smile and a caring heart. She put her trust in the Lord and was a member of Haymond Freewill Baptist for many years.
Ivalene is survived by five of her children: Windell (Darcas) Austin of Haymond, Kentucky, Sandy (Lonnie) Davis of Haymond, Kentucky, Trish Baker of Pound, Virginia, Jimmy (Vickie) Austin of Haymond, Kentucky, and Joyce Holbrook of Payne Gap, Kentucky. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and the rest of her family to mourn her passing.
Ivalene is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gilmer Austin, and two sons, Billy Austin and Ernest Gilmer Austin JR.
