Obituary for Irvin Eldridge
Irvin Eldridge, son of the late Dewey and Dixie Fields Eldridge was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky July 26, 1939. He entered eternal life Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 77 years, 10 months and 16 days of age at the time of his passing.
Irvin was married to Debbie Bates Eldridge, September 17, 1971. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a great friend to all that knew him. He is a member of The Whitesburg VFW Post 5829.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Eldridge of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Five sons; Roger (Debbie) Eldridge of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Robert (Ann) Eldridge of Hyden, Kentucky, Donald Wayne Eldridge of Lafayette, Indiana, Troy Eldridge of Georgetown, Kentucky and Todd (Kim) Eldridge of Owensville, Kentucky. Four brothers; Matthew Eldridge of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Hiram Eldridge of Somerset, Kentucky, Alvin Eldridge of Taylorsville, Kentucky and Benny Eldridge of Kingscreek, Kentucky. Two sisters; Elaine Mullins of Kingscreek, Kentucky and Eula Tolliver of Somerset, Kentucky.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren; Candy, Roger Irvin, Cody, Chase, Kevin, Christa, Chevy, Becky and Troi. Seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Irvin was preceded in death by a grandson, Calvin Eldridge. Three brothers; Ray Eldridge, Iva Eldridge and Albert Eldridge. One sister, Delma Roark.
