Obituary for Irene Potter Fields
Irene Potter Fields, daughter of the late Forest and Dora Elkins Potter was born June 4, 1925 in Letcher County, Kentucky. She entered eternal life on Monday, March 4, 2013 being 87 years and 7 months of age at the time of her passing. She was married to the late John Fields who preceded her in death January 10, 1991. She was a loving mother, grandmother. She loved designing flowers and working with her quilts. She is survived by two loving sons; Jack Fields of Deane, Kentucky and Johnny Fields of Gilley, Kentucky. Two daughters; Bernice Grubb of Payne Gap, Kentucky and Dora Perry of Seco, Kentucky. Two brothers; Dock Potter of Seco, Kentucky and Ernest Potter of Kona, Kentucky. Five grandchildren; Donna, Tammy, Chuck, Candie and Amy. Twelve great grandchildren; Brittany, Amber, Megan, Stephanie, Brian, Mike, Blaze, Chris, Gage, Ezra, Griffin, Sloane. One great great grandchild, Delilah. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by a grandson, B.J. Bates. One brother, Ben Potter. Two sisters; Hazel and Astor.
