Obituary for Hubert "Duke" Pike
Hubert "Duke" Pike son of the late Reverend Lloyd and Sarah Freeman Pike was born on October 12, 1944 in Letcher County, Kentucky. He entered eternal life on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his residence in Mayking, Kentucky being 70 years, 5 months and 21 days of age at the time of his passing. He married Gloria Wagner Pike December 9, 1974 in Clintwood, Virginia. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Pike of Mayking, Kentucky. One son, Jonathan "Tereana" Pike of Mayking, Kentucky. Two daughters; Amanda "Brian" McCown of Eolia, Kentucky and Holly "Robert" Pittman of Stanton, Kentucky. One brother, James Pike of Rogersville, Tennessee. One sister, Mary "Lynza" Wright of Somerset, Kentucky. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
