Obituary for Hester Martin Bennett
Hester Martin Bennett, daughter of the late Luther and Lillie Mae Hall Martin was born in Fleming, Kentucky, December 12, 1944. She entered eternal life Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Greg Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 73 years, 10 months and 6 days of age at the time of her passing.
Hester was married to the late Garth Bennett. He passed away October 11, 1999. She was a loving sister and a great friend to all that knew her. She had a very special pet, Nikki.
She is survived by her four loving sisters, Virginia Asher of Anderson, Indiana, Louise Gregory of Colson, Kentucky, Betty Braddock (Mike) Johnson of Colson, Kentucky and Anita Martin also of Colson, Kentucky. Three brothers, Astor (Pete) Martin of Colson, Kentucky. Estil Curtis Martin also of Colson, Kentucky and Luther Martin of Uz, Kentucky.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bell Lucas and Lucy Martin.
