Obituary for Harold Sexton Sr.
Harold Sexton Sr., son of the late Corbin and Myrtle Slone Sexton was born in Colson, Kentucky, February 5, 1938. He entered eternal life Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky
being 78 years, 9 months and 24 days of age at the time of his passing.
Harold was married to Linda Gayethale Dingus Sexton, June 3, 1957. He was a member of the Neon Methodist Church in Neon, Kentucky. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sexton of Neon, Kentucky. Three sons; Harold Sexton Jr. of Neon, Kentucky, Kelly Sexton of Travelers Rest, South Carolina and Michael (Latisha) Sexton of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Two daughters; Carolyn (Lee) Harrison of Ridge Spring, South Carolina and Kathy (Robert) Cvetnich of Haymond, Kentucky. One sister, Estell Hamby of China Grove, North Carolina. Two brothers; Estil Darrell Sexton of Neon, Kentucky and Stanley Sexton of Leatherwood, Kentucky.
Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Dean Sexton. Six brothers; Delmus, Denver, Jack, Lloyd, Junior Macarthur and Paul Daniel.
