Gwendolyn Raye (Baker) Kincer, "Granny" of Fleming Neon, Kentucky (born in Lynch, Kentucky) went to be with her heavenly Father Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Gwen was a proud mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister and Christian. She was a member of the Fleming Baptist Church of Neon, Kentucky.
Gwen was the daughter to the late Luther and Cleo (Bates) Baker. She lived in Middlesboro, Kentucky, a large portion of her life before returning back home to Fleming for the remainder.
She is survived by her loving son, Mark (Connie) Kincer of Mayking, Kentucky, a sister, Betty Chambers (Baker) of Marietta, Georgia, two grandsons, Robbie (Taylyn) Kincer of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Travis (Chelsea) Kincer of Fleming, Kentucky, two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Kross Kincer and Riley Belle Kincer.
Gwen was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Alexandria Elle Kincer, a brother, Cordell (Diane) Baker of Kingscreek, Kentucky.
"Granny always loved caring for her grandsons and hosting many Holiday dinners for the entire family. She loved to tell stories and make people laugh. Most of all, She loved the Lord with all her heart and shared that light with everyone who knew her.
