Obituary for Gwendolyn "Gwen" M. Saylor
Gwendolyn "Gwen" M. Saylor, daughter of the late Morris and Della Mae Shearer Maggard was born at Neon, Kentucky, July 6, 1953. She entered eternal life Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her residence at Smoot Creek, Kentucky being 70 years, months and 17 days of age at the time of her passing.
Gwen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friends to all that knew her. She was married to the late Dave M. Jones, he passed away in 2003. She later married Charles M. Saylor Jr. on September 20, 2008.
She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Saylor of Smoot Creek, Kentucky. Three sons; Shane (Katrina) Collins of Smoot Creek, Kentucky, J.C. (Jackie) Jones of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania and Michael (Lisa) Saylor of Richmond, Kentucky. Two daughters; Chenoa (Kevin) Pack of Smoot Creek, Kentucky and Terri (Tom) McCurry of Harlan, Kentucky. Two sisters; Stella (Jess) Bates of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Mary "Kitten" Wilson of Smoot Creek, Kentucky.
Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; Colton, Houston (Kaytlin), Hayley (Wesley) Chloe (Dawson), Joseph, Lauren, Amber, Brad, Lauren M., Jacob, Savannah, Aaron, Joshua, special grandson, Sidney (Mallory). Great grandchildren; Saylor, Asher and one expected great grandson, Greyson and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Gwen was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Earn Wilson.
