Obituary for Glenna Faye Sexton
Glenna Faye Sexton, daughter of the late Lonnie Taylor and Mary Alice Holbrook Taylor was born in Thornton, Kentucky, May 17, 1941. She entered eternal life Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being eighty years,nine months and nineteen days of age at the time of her passing.
Glenna married Orville Ray Sexton. He passed away April 28, 1995. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed working in her flower garden.
She is survived by her three loving daughters, Betty (Mike) Sheperd of Pikeville, Kentucky, Shelia (Thomas) Gibson of Premium, Kentucky, Tiffany (Archie) Hamilton of Lancaster, South Carolina, a son, Richard (Sis) Sexton of Sandlick, Kentucky, two brothers, Bobby Taylor of Colson, Kentucky and Mike Taylor of Neon, Kentucky, four sisters, Patricia Stamper of Somerset, Kentucky, Jewell Morris of Jenkins, Kentucky, Regina Sexton of Somerset, Kentucky and Wilma Caudill of Knott County, Kentucky.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a very special friend Carmel Hampton and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Glenna is preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
