Geraldine Fields, daughter of the late Willie and Ludema Adams Sturgill was born May 17, 1929 on Cowan, Kentucky. She entered eternal life on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at her residence in Jenkins, Kentucky being 89 years, 5 months and 1 day of age at the time of her passing.
She was married to Charlie Fields on May 10, 1947 in Whitesburg, Kentucky who preceded her in death on July 18, 1984. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by one son, Loyle Fields of Jenkins, Kentucky. Eight grandchildren; Richard, Celia, Brandon, Melissa, Charles Jacob, Lisa, Melody and Stephanie. Eight great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by six brothers; Carl Sturgill, Otis Sturgill, Otis Sturgill, Elwood Sturgill, Monroe Sturgill, Silas Sturgill, Raymond Sturgill. Two sisters; Wilma Jean Smith and Irene Hicks. Two sons; Doyle Fields, Charles Dale Fields and Paul Fields.
