Obituary for Georgia Blair
Georgia Blair, daughter of the late Doyle and Bessie Adams Hooper was born in Mayking, Kentucky on June 22, 1930. She entered eternal life October 31, 2015 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 85 years, 4 months and 9 days of age at the time of her passing. She was married to the late Estill Blair who preceded her in death September 26, 2006. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Kentucky since 1969. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. She is survived by her two sons; Roger (Sarah) Blair of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Wayne (Erin) Blair of Somerset, Kentucky. One step daughter; Medra Blair (Bill) Bowen of Whitesburg, Kentucky. A daughter-in-law, Shelia Webb of Ermine, Kentucky. A very special niece; Willetta. Two nephews; Jimmy Doyle and Donnie. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death a son, Claude E. Webb. A sister, Mildred Lusk.
