Obituary for George Mikel Isaacs
George Mikel Isaacs, son of the late Riley and Dove Hall Isaacs was born at Deane, Kentucky, April 9, 1956. He entered eternal life Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, Virginia being 56 years, 9 months and 8 days of age at the time of his passing. George married Marie Harris Isaacs, August 20, 1977. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. George was a joker to all who knew him and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved the times of playing football for Fleming Neon High School and was an avid UK basketball fan. He is survived by his wife, Marie Isaacs of Deane, Kentucky. Two sons; Chris (Mary) Isaacs and Jonathan Isaacs of Deane, Kentucky. Two brothers; Clester (Creda) Isaacs of Deane, Kentucky and Dannie (Deane) of Gainsboro, Tennessee. One sister, Janice (Coolie) Baker of Isom, Kentucky. Two grandchildren; Walker Isaacs and Tori Isaacs the joy of his life. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Isaacs and Kenneth Isaacs. One sister, Ruby Hutchinson.
