George Kincer, son of the late George W. and Maymie Kincer, was born on November 24, 1937. He entered eternal life Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at his residence in Thornton, Kentucky being 88 years, 1 month and 27 days of age.
George was married to the love of his life, Betty Kincer for 67 years. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and one brother, Wilmoth Kincer. George began and ended his career in the medical field, first working at Whitesburg ARH, and then becoming the medical laboratory director for MCHC; he worked a total of 53 years and was beloved by all of his patients, who claimed he was the best of the best.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitesburg, Kentucky, where he served as a deacon. George loved his church family, and the Lord. He was also a Kentucky Colonel. He was also an avid fisherman, and won many contests and tournaments.
George is survived by his loving wife Betty, one son, Stephen (Mitzi) Kincer. Two daughters, Tammy Fugate and Stephanie Stidham. Five grandchildren, Kristen, Megan (Randall), Tessa (Josh), Destin (Forrest), and Dylan. He is survived by his loving great-grandchildren, Olivia, Maci, Molly, Miley, Rylan, Velle, and Kent.
