Obituary for Genevieve Little
Genevieve Fleming Little, daughter of the late Rolley and Roxie Miller Fleming was born July 1, 1931 in Etty, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her residence in McRoberts, Kentucky being 89 years, 1 month and 26 days of age at the time of her passing.
She married Lester Little June 19, 1948 in Pike County, Kentucky. They were united in marriage for 72 years. She was a dedicated wife and full time mother. One of the hardest working women of our time. She left a living legacy in her seven children whom she taught hard working life skills like gardening, canning, and sewing just to name a few. She was a members of the McRoberts Missionary Baptist Church for 39 years. She was a delight in the church. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, working crossword puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lester Little of McRoberts, Kentucky. Four sons; Keith (Bonnie) Little of McRoberts, Kentucky, Edward (Brenda) Little of McRoberts, Kentucky, Stuart (Janet) Little of McRoberts, Kentucky. Les Little of McRoberts, Kentucky. Four daughters; Kathy (Cliff) Hagy of Clendenin, West Virginia, Carolene (Jackie) Childers of McRoberts, Kentucky, Colleen (Carl) Franklin of McRoberts, Kentucky.
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grand child and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; Roy, Albert and Shade Fleming. Two sisters; Jeanette Stewart and Joan Johnson.
