Obituary for Garnet R. Sexton
Garnet R. Sexton, daughter of Sally Lou Cook Sexton and the late Ralph Sexton was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, May 27, 1953. She entered eternal life Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky being 69 years, 3 months and 3 days of age at the time of her passing.
Garnet was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed reading and most of all spending time with her grandson (Maddox) and her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeannie (Justin) Adams of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One son, Thomas Sexton of Lexington, Kentucky. Her mother, Sally Sexton of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Three sisters; Carol (Don) Cummings of Cowan, Kentucky, Shelia (Joe) Adams of Cowan, Kentucky and Brenda Adams of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One brother, Randy Sexton of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One grandson, Maddox Grant Adams of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Also surviving are a host of of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Garnet was preceded in death by two brothers; Mike Sexton and Ansley Sexton. Two Nephews; Ralph Sexton and Christopher Sexton and brother n law, Larry Blade Adams.
