Obituary for Flora Hampton
Flora Hampton, daughter of the late Wiley and Evalee Jefferson Godsey was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on December 18, 1933. She entered eternal life on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Millstone, Kentucky being 79 years, 9 months and 7 days of age at the time of her passing. She married Martin Hampton on October 21, 1950, who preceded her in death on December 3, 2008. She enjoyed going to church, singing in the choir, cooking for friends and family and working in her garden and canning. She is survived by one son, Jeff (Linda) Hampton of Millstone, Kentucky. Three daughters; Connie (Jesse) Gibson of Kona, Kentucky, Judy (Jimmy) Taylor of Millstone, Kentucky, Nioka (Billy) Hall of Ermine, Kentucky. Ten Grandchildren; Troy Gibson, Jessica Stidham, April Lucas, Marsha Hall, Jimmy Darrell Taylor, Jeffrey Heath Hampton, Jared Leif Hampton, Ryan Cole Hampton, Eric Hall and Matthew Hall. One Niece, Naomi Ruth Muncy. One Nephew, Joseph Godsey. Also surviving are 15 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 3 foster grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Godsey.
